The Choirs

The Choirs

Our three ensembles – the Concert, Recital, and Prelude Choirs – provide a customized repertoire of study. From September to June, students take part in vocal development, performance experiences, and lessons to understand music history, composition, and theory.

CONCERT CHOIR

Singers age 12 and older, who have a practiced understanding and love of choral music, study challenging pieces as they master their vocal abilities. Concert Choir instruction is designed to achieve an international-standard of singing.  Led by Artistic Director, Madeleine Humer, Concert Choir members receive a unique combination of expertise and encouragement needed to make music a rewarding, life-long adventure. The Choir is often invited to sing with leading symphony orchestras, in performances of major works, and tour both nationally and internationally.

The Recital Choir is where children have the opportunity to deepen their love of singing, develop social skills, and make positive friendships.
