Performances

Our singers will entertain you with remarkable choral music at these special appearances and Victoria Children’s Choir concerts!

Wednesday, February 19 | 7:05 p.m
Save-on Foods Memorial Arena
The choir is singing the national anthem at the Royals game versus the Calgary Hitmen.

Saturday, March 7 | 8 p.m.
Alix Goolden Performance Hall
The choir will partner with other outstanding musicians to perform two exquisite vocal works by Baldassare Galuppi and Nicola Porpora. The sound of the works were born from a new wave of Baroque music to emerge in the mid-18th century (Empfindsamer Stil). This style was a contrast to the formality of baroque music at the time, and gave composers (and poets) freer reign to express “true and natural” feelings.
